Venue: The Purple Fiddle

On Day 2 we traveled to Thomas, WV to perform classical music at the legendary Appalachian music venue, The Purple Fiddle! The show was pretty chaotic, the stage taken over by toddlers at one point, but that’s the beauty of “A Kind of Mirror” - everything that happens mid-show is a reflection of the community, and part of the performance. I also take time to tell you about my upbringing, the most difficult period of my life, and how that relates to Gather Hear Tour. Thomas a wonderfully artistic town, with galleries, studios, and craft shops lining downtown - the artists there are so sweet and talented, and we hear from some of them in the next vlog!
