On Day 3, our newly-made artist friend Nellie Rose shows us around impressive gallery row in Thomas; then we drive to mysterious Kingwood, West Virginia to perform at the Preston Community Arts Center with no idea what to expect. I could hardly find information on Kingwood online. Once there, we meet gruff (but actually sweet) audience members, and a scene straight out of David Lynch as kids paraded around old-timey downtown in Halloween costumes.
