On Day 10, we head to Williamson - the heart of coal country and Trump country, and once a booming mining town. We were invited to perform there by Jim Pajarillo of the Williamson Art Brigade, who tirelessly and passionately works to bring the arts to Williamson. This day was special in so many ways, but most memorable was how many kids showed up to the concert, lining the seats behind me and putting their heads on the ledge to lean in the whole time. It was also special to get to share the concert stage with then 16-year old local piano star, Kristine. These young lives are our future, and it is people like Jim who are providing them with inspiration.
